Craftsmanship of Military Boots' Soles
Jul 18, 2024
1. Cold Cement / Adhesive Bonding:
- Rubber outsole, PU (Polyurethane), Rubber + EVA composite outsole, Molded rubber outsole (with stitching)
- Disadvantages: Prone to delamination, pure rubber outsoles are heavier and more tiring to wear, PU outsoles are lightweight and suitable for hot climates but not slip-resistant in winter. Composite outsoles are lightweight and slip-resistant (mainstream in the market).
2. Injection Molding:
- Pure PU injection (dual density), PU + rubber outsole
- Advantages: No delamination, slightly higher defect rate, lower production volume.
